Soul Nikah ("we", "us", "our") provides a matrimonial matching mobile application ("the App") that helps Muslims seeking marriage connect in a respectful, privacy-conscious environment. This Privacy Policy applies to all users of the App and describes our practices regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of information.
By creating an account or using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.
We collect the following categories of information:

We do not knowingly collect payment card details directly; if in-app purchases are introduced, these are processed by the applicable app store's payment system, which has its own privacy practices.

If you choose to submit a government-issued identity document for verification, that document is used solely to confirm your identity and is reviewed by our team. Once reviewed:

Your information is stored on secure cloud infrastructure provided by Google Firebase and Cloudinary. Access to user data within our systems is restricted to authorized personnel for legitimate operational purposes, such as reviewing verification requests or investigating reports.
While we take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We retain your information for as long as your account is active. You may permanently delete your account at any time from within the App (Settings → Delete Account), which removes your profile data and login credentials. Some information may be retained where required for legal, security, or fraud-prevention purposes.
Soul Nikah is intended solely for individuals aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If we become aware that a user is under 18, we will suspend the account and delete the associated data.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
